Around the world and throughout many cultures, images of skeletons have been featured in artwork throughout history. In general, these designs all serve the same purpose - to remind us of our own mortality, while also commemorating those who have gone before us.
This is a powerful motif and one that makes an incredible tattoo. If this is something you’re considering, then you’ll love our environmentally-friendly dancing skeleton temporary tattoo. Created in the fine line style, this design features a realistic skeleton with its arms thrown in the air in an ecstatic dance.
Our dancing skeleton fake tattoo reminds us of the Latin words memento mori, which translates to “remember that you will die.” This concept was popular among the ancient Greek and Roman philosophers, as well as early Christians. It reminds us that our life here on earth is temporary.
Interpret this as you may. Our dancing skeleton adhesive tattoo could inspire you to make the most of your time on earth or remind you that a better life awaits you beyond. Whatever your motivation, our temporary tattoo is a great way to try out this bold and eye-catching design before committing to ink. Looking for something a little smaller? How To
How To
How do I apply my Tatteco?
Remove the semi-transparent protective sheet and place the tattoo face down on clean, dry skin that is free from oils, lotions or creams.
Press a wet cloth firmly against the backing paper for around 30 seconds, then gently peel the paper away. Allow the tattoo to dry completely before touching it.
How long do temporary tattoos last?
A regular Tatteco lasts 2–5 days on average, although longevity varies depending on the design, placement and how you care for it.
Fine-line designs may fade a little sooner, while tattoos placed on areas with less friction can sometimes last longer.
For the best results, avoid applying your Tatteco to oily areas, places where the skin stretches frequently, or underneath tight-fitting clothing.
Our semi-permanent Tattecos last around 14 days.
How do I remove my Tatteco?
Your tattoo will gradually fade on its own after a few days.
If you would like to remove it sooner, apply rubbing alcohol or baby oil to the tattoo, leave it for around 10 seconds, then gently rub it away with a cloth.
Are Tattecos waterproof?
Yes. You can shower and swim while wearing your Tatteco.
However, avoid scrubbing, rubbing or washing directly over the tattoo, as friction will cause it to fade more quickly.
How can I make my tattoo last longer?
Apply your Tatteco to clean, dry, oil-free skin, ideally on an area that does not stretch or experience too much friction.
Once applied, keep the area clean and avoid excessive rubbing, exfoliation and tight clothing over the tattoo.
